21/01/01    To resolve to accept apologies and reasons for absence

It was resolved to move this item until near the end of the meeting.

 

20/01/04    Public Forum
The member of the public had raised some questions with the Clerk and all had been answered prior to the meeting.  No further comments.
 

20/01/05     NOTES OF PREVIOUS MEETINGS
A change was made to correct the date in the heading of the minutes. Following a vote it was unanimously RESOLVED that the notes of the meeting held on 24 November 2020 be approved and signed as minutes.
 

21/01/06     Financial Matters

  1. To approve the statement of accounts and bank reconciliations to date
    Following a vote it was unanimously RESOLVED to approve the statement of accounts and bank reconciliations to date.
     
  2. To approve accounts for payment.
    Following a vote it was unanimously RESOLVED to approve the following accounts and the Clerk’s salary and pension for payment:

Due to technical difficulties the meeting was suspended for 5 minutes to allow everyone to reconnect.

 

  1. To consider any additional requirements for grass cutting during 2021
    Cllr Green had obtained a quote for cutting 2 additional areas of grass during 2021; one in front of Chestnut Farm and one near the Play Area. Following a vote it was RESOLVED by a majority to accept the quotation for additional areas of grass suggested and obtained by Cllr Green, cutting 8 times during 2021 at a cost of £8 per cut and to cover the cost from the reserve funds.  Cllrs Green, Waine, Harkins, Lillywhite and Gregson voted for the proposal. Cllrs Howard and Dickinson voted against the proposal.
     
  2. To consider any additional proposals for 2021 that may impact on the budget
    None.
     
  3. To consider the proposed budget and precept for 2021/22
    As agreed the precept request would not change from the estimate already sent to WLDC.  Additional grass cutting costs would be covered by reserve funds.   
     
  4. To complete the final precept request to be sent to WLDC
    Following a vote it was unanimously RESOLVED that the Clerk would send in a final precept request of £9730.  As this was a remote meeting it was agreed that The Clerk would email the completed form to Cllr Howard,  This would then be sent to Cllrs Waine and Lillywhite to complete and return to the Clerk for her signature and the submission to WLDC.
     

21/01/07     To acknowledge the Sustainability Climate Change and Environment Strategy received from WLDC
Acknowledged.
 

21/01/08     To consider the West Lindsey Green Spaces Fund
No obvious spaces available to suit the use of this fund.
 

21/01/09     TO CONSIDER COMMUNICATION WITH THE COUNTY COUNCILLOR
It was reported that the Clerk and residents had not received replies from the County Councillor either in relation to Parish Council meetings or to parishioners concerned with County Council matters.  The Clerk had been advised to try to contact the Councillor again and to copy the request to the Leader of the County Council.  Cllr England would try to address this issue with Cllr Rawlins and would send through details of the monitoring officer as requested.
