The Annual Parish Council Meeting will be held on Wednesday 26th May 2021 commencing at 7.30pm in the Memorial Hall, Faldingworth. The business to be dealt with at the meeting is listed on the Agenda below. The meeting is open to the public and during the meeting there will be a 15 minute public forum when members of the public may ask questions or make short statements to the Council in relation to the business on the agenda.
The Hall is Covid secure, and Covid safe precautions will be required including track and trace, social distancing, hand sanitising and the wearing of a face covering by anyone entering the hall

1. Election of Chair and receive Declaration of Acceptance of Office
2. To receive apologies and reasons for absence
3. Election of Vice-Chair and receive Declaration of Acceptance of Office
4. To appoint a representative to the Memorial Hall Management Committee
5. To receive declarations of interest on any item on the Agenda
6. To receive reports from representatives on outside bodies taking any required action
7. To resolve to suspend the meeting to allow no more than 15 minutes of public forum

W. Green - Repayment for Community Funding - £500 (note chq no 101123 ref 2016 cancelled)
D.Waine - £7.92 - reimbursement of postage
c. To consider the annual insurance premium and decide accordingly
(Note: The annual report from the Internal Auditor and all matters relating to the Council’s submission to the External Audit will be dealt with at an Extraordinary Meeting of the Council to be called in June)

12. Appointment of new Clerk and Proper officer – to receive the recommendation of the Staffing Committee meeting held on 12th May 2021 and confirm the appointment of Andrew Hopkins as Clerk/RFO and Proper Officer
13. Co-option of Councillor to fill vacancy – to note that to date no applications have been received
14. Playing Field fence- a section of post and rail fence adjacent to the entrance gate is rotten and requires replacing., which was pointed out by a local resident. A quotation of £90 to cover materials and labour has been obtained, and authority is requested for the work to be carried out.
15. Litter Bin on A46 – To consider a request from a resident for a litter bin to be placed in the informal lay-by on the A46 at the southern entrance to the village.
16. Notice Board on the Council’s Play area - to consider purchasing a replacement
