The Police had advised that there was nothing to report for the Parish

Following a vote it was unanimously RESOLVED that the notes of the meeting held on 21 November 2018 be approved and signed as minutes.

  1. To consider an increase in pension contributions
    Following a vote it was unanimously RESOLVED to increase the Clerk’s pension contributions from 2% to 3% from April 2019.  The Clerk’s contribution would increase from 3% to 5% from April 2019.
     
  2. To consider the proposed budget and precept for 2019
    The draft budget had been amended to include final costings. Following a vote it was unanimously RESOLVED to a final precept request to WLDC for £9,215.
     
  3. To complete the final precept claim for 2019
    The final precept claim form was completed and would be sent to WLDC

19/01/07     CHAIR’S REPORT
The Chair had nothing to report

19/01/08  CLERK’S REPORT
The Clerk reported that £186.80 had been received as a Wayleave payment for the installation of the underground electricity cable on the playing field.
 

19/01/09  To report on information received regarding the parish council elections
The timetable and potential costs for the elections in May 2019 were discussed and Councillors were provided with the necessary paperwork for nominations.

19/01/10 To consider any suitable projects for the national citizen service.
The National Citizen Service were looking for projects for young people volunteering for a 4-week course aimed at developing life and works skills.  2 weeks of the course would be spent looking at teamwork, employability and leadership skills.  2 weeks would then be spent working on projects to benefit communities.  The Council agreed to suggest a project for community cohesion using the perimeter of the playing field.  The Project co-ordinator would confirm whether the project was suitable and whether there were sufficient local youngsters on the scheme.  The Council would then decide whether to formally approve the project.

19/01/13     PLANNING MATTERS

Planning Applications, Consents and Refusals received by the Parish. 

APPLICATION REFERENCE NO: 138586
PROPOSAL: Planning application for single storey rear and side extension and double garage.
LOCATION: Garfield, Stocks Lane Faldingworth Market Rasen LN8 3SH
The application had been approved subject to a reduction in height for the garage
 

19/01/14     Urgent items
Cllr Sutton reported that the rechargeable battery for the Speed Indicator Device needed replacing.  The Clerk would follow this up.  Cllr Dickinson was given the paperwork etc for the Speed Indicator Device.
